Although some might argue that there’s not much of a change in seasons here in Southern California, autumn definitely brings a bit of crispness to the air. When the temperatures start to shift, we like to kick off the season with a weekend of apple-picking in Oak Glen. It’s not quite time yet, so these apple crafts for kids will keep us busy until then.
- I love this apple & worm craft from Storytime Katie
- Here’s an easy popsicle stick peekaboo worm & apple craft from All Kids Network.
- And my favorite, a paper plate apple pie craft from All Free Holiday Crafts. I love the suggestion of sprinkling cinnamon for added effect. For a younger storytime group, you could also make the crust with strips of brown construction paper instead of cutting the paper plate.
- You can also download our printable apple template in order to create your own apples from paper, felt, or whatever else strikes your fancy.
